"Rio Carnivali Lady" T-Shirt - Bronze/Brown

The story of this design:

I begin with a piece of raw fabric, sketching the figure directly onto it in permanent fabric paint, before slowly building the artwork with fabric paints — adding her delicate linework, black dress, soft ruffles and warm, earthy background by hand.

Once the painting is complete, I leave the fabric edges deliberately raw and distressed before sewing the finished artwork directly onto a classic black top.

There are no printed transfers or mass-produced graphics. Every brushstroke, imperfect line and little detail has been created by hand, which means there will never be another one exactly the same.

The contrast of the elegant illustrated lady against the rustic, frayed fabric gives this piece that slightly undone, artistic Jaclets feel I love — feminine, interesting and completely unique.

Part artwork. Part clothing. Made to be worn.

The design is onto a cotton loose fit tshirt, and sizing is normal.

To wash, turn it inside out, cold machine wash and line dry. The fabric is permanent fabric paint, but just use mild detergent when washing so as not to disturb the colours.
